Spring Intramural Rec League
Come enjoy Recreational Youth Lacrosse! Non-contact lacrosse means required equipment is only a mouthguard and stick. Train and Game intramural format means a single night a week commitment. A fun way to test out if your kid might love lacrosse.
2U (K - 2nd Grade) kids have this league to determine if investing in more gear is the right choice for them.
4U and up can choose this or regular season lacrosse (further down this page, Trios practices are included in the regular season.) Upgrading to the regular season later on is also possible if your kid wants to compete against Houston area teams.
Boys Spring Regular Season / Varsity Prep Program
What: Teams for 3rd through 8th graders. Gameplay is with other Houston neighborhood teams. Full pads and equipment required; loaner pads are available for first time players with a deposit. Registration includes the regular season/varsity prep team practices and games. The 8U and 6U team registration also includes Texas Trios nights.
Cost:
3rd-4th grade (4U) - $400
5th-6th grade (6u) - $475
7th-8th grade (8u) - $550

When: Practices start mid-January, games start mid-February, and the season ends at the end of April.
Who: Boys from the Kingwood, New Caney, Porter, and Humble areas. All experience levels are welcome.
Where: Practices and home games held at Healy Sportplex - 1703 Northpark Drive, Kingwood, TX 77339. Away games held at neighboring community sports fields.
YOUR PLAYER GETS:

YOUR PLAYER'S FEE COVERS:
- Fields - Our outdoor fields at Healy Sportsplex is the biggest expense in our budget. Field maintenance crew, utilities, waste management, water etc.
- Tournaments entry fees
- Overhead expenses - website, storage unit, flyers, community signs, supplies, taxes, transaction fees, bank fees etc.
- Referees - contracted from TXLOA which is the USA Lacrosse-approved training and certifying organization for the sport of men’s and boys’ lacrosse in the Greater Houston area.
- Program equipment/practice jerseys
