1) Cascade CPV-R – This helmet comes in several sizes for a customizable fit. White helmets are fine. If you want to customize the helmet, do a Navy shell, silver mask, navy visor, white chin piece, white strap, no mohawk decal, and no vent decal. Leave all other options alone. That will match our team colors and other kids who have customized their helmets.

2) Cascade XRS or XRS Youth – These are top of the line helmets and priced as such. White helmets are fine. Sticks for 10 years old and UNDER:

String King Starter Jr. – $69.99 - This stick has a head shape that is perfect for younger players and it is hand strung by a professional. The stick length is shorter and the diameter narrower than those of the older boys, which will fit smaller hands of younger kids much better. Sticks for 10 years old and OVER: These sticks are great options for new player in the upper age limit of 10u and all 12u and 14u players. The sticks will be regulation length and tough enough to handle the rigors at these age groups. The lacrosse heads are shaped appropriately for developing players. Most importantly, they are all professionally strung in a way that will make learning the game easier and more enjoyable.

2) Powell Scout - $65 – Powell Lacrosse was created by and is run by the legendary lacrosse brothers Ryan, Casey, and Mikey Powell. The Powell Scout is full sized and designed for to help a beginner player develop. 1) Dick’s Sporting Goods in Atascocita has pads. All sizes and brands are not always in stock, and the employees typically are not knowledgeable about lacrosse. You can order several sizes at once from dickssportinggoods.com, and return the ones that don’t fit in person at any Dick’s location. 2) Lacrosse Unlimited has an online store and physical store in the 610 loop. If you go the physical store, they will set you up with what you need, plus a lot more. Lacrosse Unlimited only sells the STX starter set – Some of these come with helmets.

3) Used – make sure the shoulder pads have the NOCSAE Certification logo somewhere on them. This was a fairly recent certification, and some older pads will not be compliant. Shoulder pads without the NOCSAE certification tag will not be allowed. Check sidelineswap.com and Facebook Marketplace.
